We couldn't be more grateful for Annie and her amazing dog boarding service. She's looked after our German Shorthaired Pointer, Devon, several times now, and each time we go away, we know she's in the best possible hands. Annie is a true dog lover - she has three dogs of her own and treats every dog she cares for like part of the family. Devon always comes back happy, well exercised, and clearly loved. The long walks Annie takes her on are a real highlight, and it's clear she puts genuine care and attention into every part of her routine. Her home is a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment, and it's such a comfort knowing Devon is somewhere she feels relaxed and secure. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Annie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind and experienced dog carer. She's amazing!

Max
Our dog, Max, stayed at Sophie's Staycation a couple of weeks ago, and we couldn't recommend somewhere more! This was our first time leaving him with someone who wasn't family, but Annie made us feel completely at ease straight away. She is such a kind person and you can see how much she cares for any dog she looks after. The trial night was a great opportunity to put our mind at ease and Max settled in immediately, which isn't surprising considering all the love he was shown whilst there. Whilst we were away Annie sent us amazing videos she'd put together and lots of pictures, so we knew he was having a great time. Honestly, our only concern was that he wasn't going to want to come home! Thanks so much for a great boarding experience, we really appreciate it!

Oh my gosh, where to start...
From the second I met Annie, Sophie and the rest of the crew I KNEW she was the only person I would trust looking after my beautiful girl moving forward!!
Bonnie has beyond loved her stay for the week and was treated like one of Annie's own dogs and was clearly comfortable and made the best of friends with the loveable Sophie!
She was walked twice a day on new adventures and I was sent more videos and pictures than I could wish for (I'm a very nervous dog mummy when it comes to leaving my baby)!!
I feel like Bonnie has a new extended family here and she will certainly be back... she's missing her best pal Sophie already!

I have used Sophie's Staycation for my chocolate labrador twice, on both occasions he's been very well looked after in a home from home environment. The care and attention given to him during his stay has been absolutely fantastic and I cannot speak Annie's praises enough. It feels great leaving your dog knowing that they are being well looked after. I won't use anyone else, and can't recommend enough.

I honestly don't know where to start...
My elderly Patterdale, Maggie, has recently returned from her second stay with Annie, and I'm not convinced she wanted to come home on either occasion!
Maggie was treated like one of Annie's own dogs, she was part of the family for the week - given lots of love, cuddles and taken on two daily walks. Annie sent me updates and pictures throughout my week away, and I knew I could contact her any time to check-in and see how Maggie was doing.
Annie's own dogs are amazing and so welcoming - even to an old sassy Patterdale who thinks she is the boss!
I can 100% recommend Annie at Sophie's Staycation, I wouldn't leave my girl anywhere else. Maggie is already booked in for our next holiday!

Little Max
My dog, "Little Max" has just had his first holiday at Sophie's Staycation. What a fabulous place!
He was treated as part of the family and clearly loved his time there. I was sent daily videos to see how he was doing, which totally put my mind at ease. We had a meet and greet and then a trial night before his stay.
Annie and her family are amazing! Highly recommend!

I have a 9 month old labrador who has just had a 5 night stay at Sophie's Staycation and a tester night previously.
Winnie is my velcro puppy and I hate her being in anyone's care. But I cannot rate Sophie's Staycation enough!
Winnie has had the best time, I've been sent pictures from start to finish and she's been loved unconditionally. She's been treated as their own and I couldn't recommend them enough!

We had such a great experience with Annie at Sophie’s Staycation looking after our dog Nancy. From the moment we dropped her off, we felt totally at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Annie is so warm and caring, and it really shows in how happy and settled Nancy was during her stay.
We loved getting regular updates and photos — it was so nice to see Nancy clearly relaxed and enjoying herself. When we picked her up, she was calm, content, and very obviously well looked after.
Sophie’s Staycation really does feel like a proper home-from-home, and we wouldn’t think twice about booking again. Highly recommend Annie to anyone wanting their dog to be genuinely cared for. Nancy will definitely be back! 🐶💛
